Okay, so I seriously love a good sweater. Like, giant sweaters… as in, “excuse me love, are you wearing a tent?”. I think, they are really fabulous and can offer you so much on a cold overcast day that’s sort of like a giant Hallmark card for your body. As was such a day as above; cold, chilly and totally appropriate for this waffle knit.
I added a long chiffon blouse underneath it for an extra layer and for the added perk of a peek-a-boo collar. These jeans have totally surpassed any expectation I’ve ever had for denim, great wash-perfect fit-moveability. These are all very important factors. I absolutely abhor jeans that I can’t actually MOVE in, in case at any point throughout the day I find it necessary for a dance party or I need to run down the street to a sample sale or an awesome food truck. I wanna be able to MOVE ya’ll. These jeans are awesome. Getcha some.
I solemnly swear I have other purses, but for now I am just so obsessed with this Rebecca Minkoff. I can’t seem to part with her for even a day. Apparently we’re still in the honeymoon phase. Here I’m wearing the chain full length, normally I have it doubled up in something of a rigged up manor.
(did I mention I love a great sweater?)

The Santa Ana’s have arrived. And it has been windy ya’ll. The other night I could have sworn a tornado all the way from my lovely home state of Oklahoma had come to pay me a visit. The noises from 80+ winds sound nothing short of what I imagine a caged monster would make. It has caused quite the headache with my allergies, thank you Mother Nature.

Happy Thanksgiving loves. We are in the middle of my favorite time of year, and although LA keeps turning out 80 degree days to throw me off, I am loving the cold nights, leaves, warm cups of tea and holiday decorations. We started our day with homemade gluten free cinnamon rolls and coffee during Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and some football and finished it off with a gf Thanksgiving food coma followed by pumkpin pie and The Holiday.
This evening somehow turned into an impromptu shoot, and I’m glad we have our Thanksgiving photographed. Dealing with uncooperative bangs, I braided them to the side, and in the hustle of making sure things weren’t burning I forgot to throw on my vintage red belt with the gold clasp, and some other accessories. . but none the less it made it into a post.
Sidenote: Last year I found a way to make a gluten free green bean casserole, it is literally my favorite thing to eat. in. the. world. As in, I might be caught face down in the golden green deliciousness the God of Thanksgiving gifts us, trying to lick to very last bite, not to be wasted upon the dishwasher.
I am loving wearing the colors rust and carmel, it seems to be all I’m buying currently. This skirt is the perfect color of rust, btw.

1. Alexander McQueen Red Aviators, 2. Rag & Bone fedora, 3. 3.1 Phillip Lim Contrast Back Tee, 4. Zara Square Shaped Knit, 5. Alexander Wang Sheer Tee, 6. Rebecca Minkoff Woven handbag, 7. Jeffrey Campbell WHAT ankle boots 8. T by Alexander Wang white classic tee, 9. Vince cropped sequin top, 10. Givenchy Boucle cardigan
These are a few items I’m dying to add to my closet. I am obsessed with the Alexander McQueen aviators and kinda love how they clash with my mess of hair, and I’m really loving the Givenchy cardigan, imagine, its like throwing on a fur hug. All I can really say is I have to have the Rag & Bone fedora for this fall, what could be more lovelier than that on a chilly, rainy LA day? Loving the Rebecca Minkoff bag, an easily detachable shoulder strap makes for an instant, ready to wear oversized clutch. Fingers crossed you’ll be seeing some of these in future posts.
